How can I choose an input on a Philips Android TV?

Use the Philips remote in BetterDisplay to open the TV’s source menu, then navigate it with the remote’s arrow and OK buttons. This sends remote-key commands to the TV. It does not provide the same direct named-input list as the LG webOS controller.

First open Settings > Displays > [TV] > Device Control > Configure Philips Smart TV…. Add the controller through Add or Remove Controllers… if needed, enter the TV’s network address and complete pairing. The TV must support the network protocol and be reachable. See Philips setup.

In the app menu’s Device Control section, enable Show Philips Remote. Select its source button, shown as two rectangles with arrows, and use the directional buttons and OK to choose the input on the TV. The commands require a ready connection, and the TV determines how its source menu behaves.
