What can I use for monitor brightness and contrast on Windows?

Twinkle Tray is an option for adjusting compatible monitors from the Windows system tray. It supports brightness sliders, hotkeys and DDC/CI features such as contrast, volume and power state.

Check that your monitor has DDC/CI enabled and that the connection supports it. Support can differ between direct connections and docks. A working brightness slider does not establish support for every other monitor command.

Choose a Windows app according to the features you need. Monitor brightness and contrast adjustments are only part of BetterDisplay’s feature set.
