Why does my Pro license keep becoming deactivated?
First check the license status in Settings > Pro and note the exact message. Re-entering the key may restore Pro temporarily, but support may need to check the license and its activations to find the reason it keeps deactivating.
Check the purchase email address and where the key came from. An unauthorized reseller may have sold the same key to several people. Those users can end up deactivating one another’s installations as they try to use the same activation seat. This is one possible cause, not a diagnosis of every repeated deactivation.
Before restarting or re-entering the key, check Settings > Pro and retain the exact status or error message. A change in how the Mac is identified, or a problem with local licensing data, may also need investigation. Losing Pro repeatedly does not by itself establish that someone else is using your key.
Contact support privately with your purchase receipt, purchase email address and license details so the license can be checked. Paddle buyer support handles licensing and purchase issues. The developer can also investigate a questionable key. Do not post the full key in a public support thread.
For a new purchase, use BetterDisplay's in-app checkout or the official website. If the problem is an activation limit after moving Macs, follow license migration and activation recovery instead. An Outdated License warning is a different condition from repeated deactivation. The Licensing section explains coverage and upgrade notices.
