Night Shift
Night Shift is a macOS feature that shifts display colors toward warmer tones. It can follow a schedule or be changed manually on supported systems.
Night Shift differs from True Tone, which responds to ambient light, and from selecting a color profile. Its warmth setting changes color appearance; it does not by itself set a measured panel luminance.
BetterDisplay provides access to the system feature where available and temporarily disables it during upscaling calibration. See System Colors and Apple's Night Shift guidance.
