Picture-by-Picture
Picture-by-Picture (PBP) is a monitor feature that presents multiple physical inputs side by side on one panel. Each input occupies part of the panel, rather than using its entire pixel grid.
For example, splitting a 3840 × 2160 panel equally into two vertical regions gives each input a 1920 × 2160 area. The appropriate resolution and aspect ratio depend on the actual split. The monitor must support and activate the mode.
PBP is separate from BetterDisplay's picture-in-picture window, which presents a captured source in a macOS window. See Hardware PBP, Picture in picture and BenQ's PBP guidance.
