Synchronization

Synchronization makes a change on a source display follow through to selected target displays. In BetterDisplay, display groups define which controls participate and how their values should relate.

Absolute synchronization sends a value or corresponding range position. Delta synchronization sends the amount of change, preserving differences between starting values where the selected ranges allow it. Nits synchronization instead uses configured luminance information for brightness matching.

Matching percentages does not guarantee matching physical brightness on different monitors. Synchronization is also separate from mirroring their desktops. See Synchronization Settings and Nits.
