USB-C

USB-C, or USB Type-C, names a connector system. The connector shape alone does not tell you which data speed, power delivery or display functions a port and cable support.

A compatible USB-C connection can carry DisplayPort using Alternate Mode. USB4 and Thunderbolt connections can also carry display data. A USB-only device or cable is not automatically a usable native video connection.
