Layout protection

Layout protection asks BetterDisplay to restore the relative positions of displays in a group. It is useful when reconnecting a display changes the desktop arrangement.

The saved layout describes geometry, such as which display sits beside another. It is separate from protecting a display's resolution or refresh rate. Restoring positions still depends on the group's activation, available members and selected protection rules.
