Input source

An input source is the device input a monitor, TV or receiver currently uses, such as an HDMI or DisplayPort input. Selecting another input changes which connected source the device presents.

This is separate from the source of a BetterDisplay stream or synchronization rule. BetterDisplay can request input changes through a compatible controller, but device-specific codes and names need to match the monitor or receiver.
